91原创视频 Admissions Consultation for September 2026

91原创视频 is conducting three important consultations concerning proposed changes to the admissions arrangements at some of our academies. We would like to invite your feedback on each of these proposals, which we believe will better align our schools with the needs of their local communities while ensuring high-quality education and sustainability.

Abbey Grange Church of England Academy 鈥 Proposed Amendment to Oversubscription Criteria

Abbey Grange is proposing to reduce the period of qualifying worship in its oversubscription criteria from two years to one year. This change is aimed at increasing access to the school for children from active Church of England families who may face challenges in meeting the current two-year attendance requirement. The proposed reduction would ensure that families who have recently moved or changed churches are not unfairly disadvantaged.听

Lightcliffe Academy 鈥 Proposed Reduction in Published Admission Number (PAN)

Lightcliffe Academy is proposing to reduce its PAN for Year 7 intake from 250 to 180 students from September 2026 onwards. This adjustment is being made in response to a decline in local pupil numbers and a significant surplus of places in recent years. The reduction aims to better align the school鈥檚 capacity with local demand and improve the allocation of resources, while ensuring the continuation of a high standard of education.听

Manston St James Primary Academy 鈥 Proposed Changes to PAN and Oversubscription Criteria

Manston St James Primary Academy is proposing to reduce its PAN from 60 to 30 for the 2026-2027 academic year and amend its oversubscription criteria to expand the priority admission area to include new residential developments nearby. This change reflects the evolving demographics of the area and ensures that local families, particularly those in new housing developments, have access to an education rooted in Christian values.听

Each of these proposals aims to better serve our communities by ensuring that our schools operate efficiently, equitably, and with a commitment to delivering the highest quality education.

Please take some time to review the full proposals and the proposed admissions arrangements published on this page.

This consultation will run for seven weeks from Monday 2 December 2024 to midday on Monday 20 January 2025. During this time, feedback is invited from all stakeholders.听
